Attendee cost is $25 per person which includes the education seminars, dinner and admission to the booth area. Vendor cost for NARIGC members is $250 which includes an 8'x10' booth space, a table, 2 chairs and 2 dinners for your booth staff (additional dinners can be purchased). Booth space is assigned on a first-come, first served basis and electrical needs. |

NEW "KNOW YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS" BROCHURE
Before engaging in the business of home repair and remodeling, this brochure must be presented to the client. If the contract is more than $1,000, in Illinois a contractor is required to put the contract in writing, provide the customer with a copy of the "Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights" pamphlet, and obtain written acknowledgement of their receipt of the brochure.
The Illinois Attorney General's office has updated that pamphlet and requires that this up-to-date version (click link above) be distributed and signed by the homeowner.
If the contractor does not retain a signed copy of the Homeowner Acknowledgement portion of this pamphlet, Illinois court cases have been decided that the contractor may forfeit his or her rights to collecting monies owed!
