LGBT SURVEY
| | |
Share the link!

SCTFC and the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health have designed an online survey to better understand tobacco use within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community. This important information will guide efforts to decrease tobacco use within the LGBT community here in South Carolina.
Smoking rates among LGBT individuals are much higher than the general population. The current rate of smoking for LGBT individuals was 32.8% in 2009-2010. In comparison, the smoking rate among heterosexual/straight individuals was 19.5% for the same time period (Source: CDC).
Please consider passing along this survey to your network. Access survey here. The survey ends September 30th. Thank you for your help! If you have any questions about this survey, please feel free to contact Doug Outlaw, doug@smokefreesc.org or 803-251-0130.
