CTD, Inc -- A CAMT Success Story

CAMT product development and commercialization services help capture $2M in new sales
Composite Technology Development, Inc. (CTD), a woman-owned small business in Lafayette, custom designs, manufactures and tests innovative materials and products primarily for aerospace, energy and defense applications.
CTD approached CAMT for guidance in product development, commercialization processes and program management methods. Combining insights from CAMT's Rapid Cycle Product Introduction (RCPI) and processes learned in the project management workshop, CTD is launching its newest product, the Portable Array Module (PAM) for mobile tactical solar power. This product is responsible for over $2 million in new sales to the U.S. military, with more orders in the pipeline.
"Using CAMT's RCPI and Project Management methodologies in tandem has enabled CTD to bring our newest product to market faster."
- Matt Hooker, Vice President of Operations.

CAMT client GPS Source featured
Employing approximately 30 workers in Pueblo West, GPS Source's re-transmission units are used with different military platform applications to re-transmit GPS data to soldier and airman-level devices. Plainly speaking, this technology gives our soldiers accurate and immediate information that provides them with more situational awareness during military missions. GPS Source worked with CAMT to improve its processes, explore opportunities to expand market share, and identify and develop new products at a quicker rate. Most critically, CAMT helped GPS Source on a reverse engineering project that involved deconstructing a Heads-Up Display (HUD) for the T-45 Jet Trainer Aircraft.
