Employee Training Funds Available | |
Via the U.S. Dept. of Labor H1-B Grant
Colorado manufacturing companies can use the U.S. Department of Labor H1-B grant to fund up to 100% of CAMT training and $5,000 per incumbent worker from now until June 2015. The state of Colorado was awarded $5 million to provide education and training for positions that have historically been filled by foreign workers on H1-B visas in larger numbers due to shortage of those skills in the U.S. The H1-B grant aims to raise the technical skill levels of U.S. workers and reduce the number of foreign workers filling high-skill, high-paying jobs.
To explore if your company qualifies for H1-B funding, please contact your CAMT representative or Merrily Hill Smith. |
