Event Recap

August was a very full month for our neighborhood! Special thanks to Vulcan Real Estate for putting on the 11th Annual SLU Block Party. The event raised over $23k for the Low Income Housing Institute and SLU Chamber.  We saw over 12,000 attendees and 75 neighborhood businesses participated. (How many SLU Chamber members?) Special congrats to Brave Horse Tavern and Pan Pacific Hotel for your award winning burgers!

The following weekend was the Seattle Street Food Festival. The event hosted a beer garden, which raised additional proceeds for the SLU Chamber.

We had a fabulous networking event at McCormick & Schmick's and an evening of art and mingling at MadArt.
