SLU Chamber Happy Hour & Art Exhibit

See the current exhibit at MadArt while sipping on wine and enjoying delicious appetizers. Network with new friends and make valuable connections. Registration includes two drinks and a buffet of appetizers.
Through a partnership between MadArt and the Seattle Art Fair, Julie Alpert is working in the MadArt Studio from June 17th - September 3rd to create the site-specific installation, Backdrop. This artwork will be part of the Seattle Art Fair's off-site installation program, Experiments: Pure Research.

SLU Block Party

The SLU Block Party includes interactive elements and demonstrations that shine a spotlight on the unique organizations that are in South Lake Union. The event will host a beer garden, a full day of live music programming, fun and games for the whole family, food sampling booths, a burger grilling competition, and more! The SLU Chamber and the Low Income Housing Institute are this year's non-profit beneficiaries.

Join Portage Bay for the seventh annual Lake Union 10K run or walk along the Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop Trail. Race starts and finishes in Lake Union Park, with course running clockwise around the lake.

Applications for (Park)ing Day Seattle are due by the end of August. Street use permit is free. Several SLU organizations participate every year.
