Join Chamber members and guests for networking and a delicious lunch, hosted by MOHAI. MOHAI's Julia Swan will present a light-hearted and engaging exploration of South Lake Union's history, plus hear more about what's going on and coming up at MOHAI!
Julia studied history and museum studies and has been combining her love for both subjects at MOHAI since 2011. She leads MOHAI's adult public programs department, which presents a wide range of educational and community programs for life-long learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Welcome New Board Members!
Huy Nguyen joined Umpqua Bank, South Lake Union store in 2012. Since then, Huy has actively volunteered and partnered up with many local organizations including the American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific, Immanuel Community Services, YouthCare, and Compass Housing Alliance. Huy presently serves on the Event Committee.
Tyler Roush is Communications Manager of Compass Housing Alliance, which develops affordable housing, shelter and support services for homeless and low-income people in the Puget Sound region. A lifelong communications professional with a background in journalism, photography and graphic design, Tyler brings his skills to the Chamber's Marketing Committee.

Discover Wine

South Lake Union is quickly becoming a destination for diners, with numerous restaurants surrounded by public art, lush parks and distinct architecture. The pièce de résistance of any meal, though, is a perfectly-paired glass of wine. Residents and visitors alike are invited to try some of Washington's most popular wines at Discover Wine.
Tickets ($25) includes a passport to sample wine from ten of Woodinville's best wineries. Light snacks are also provided. Proceeds from the event will benefit Northwest Harvest.
