SEATTLE DESIGN FESTIVAL SHOWCASED SLU FOR 2ND ANNUAL EVENT
South Lake Union hosted the 2nd annual Seattle Design Festival last weekend, put on by Design in Public. John Street between 9th and Westlake was transformed with outdoor furniture and large containers turned into pop-up shops, art exhibits and interactive spaces. The Seattle Architectural Foundation hosted walking tours, and there was even a design-themed pub trivia. We loved hosting them and seeing our neighborhood beautifully showcased.
