Firmware Version 6.32 
Firmware version 6.32 can now be obtained from the Bosch DownloadStore. This firmware version includes a change that is important for all installers to know prior to upgrading device firmware or installing new devices.
 
In this new version, the default setting for Automatic IPv4 address assignment has changed from "On" to "On plus Link-Local." The result is that the former default IP address (192.168.0.1) is no longer used. Instead, the camera will assign itself an auto-IP address from the range 169.254.1.0 to 169.254.254.255 as long as there is no other IP address assigned by a DHCP server. This eliminates the issue of duplicate IP addresses occurring on a network.
 
In addition to this change, firmware 6.32 adds a 3MP at 12 images per second mode for our DINION and FLEXIDOME IP 5000 cameras and also offers the option for video analytic overlays on JPEG posting for our cameras featuring on-board analytics.
Tip: Upgrading firmware with Configuration Manager 5.43
Configuration Manager 5.43 is now available. This latest version adds support for firmware 6.32. To upgrade the firmware of a device within Configuration Manager 5.43, go to the Devices tab, right click the device(s) (multiple like devices can be upgraded at the same time), and select the File Upload submenu and Firmware option. Navigate to the location where the firmware download was saved to, and select the correct CPP firmware file for the device. The Firmware Upload Status menu will appear, showing all the devices that you have selected to upgrade. Select the start button, wait for the upload process to complete, then close the menu. All devices that were recently upgraded will reboot.
