suggested statement:
hi, my name is __________. I am contacting you on behalf of TYC because we need your help!
We are running a t-shirt campaign to help us send Trans* Youth advocates to creating change, a large LGBT conference held in Colorado where organizations from around the world learn how to make a better LGBT+ movement. We have raised enough to get 1 youth to the conference, but we only have one week left and two more more volunteers to bring, so I was wondering if you could help us out by getting a shirt that supports your local community! We only need 18 shirts total and we are so close! please follow the link below to make your contribution and purchase a shirt.

Thank you very much for your support! This is greatly appreciated as the success of this campaign means the success for Trans Youth Channel! our booster campaign:

 | Halloween is coming up! |
Halloween
The topic this week is going to be halloween. Halloween is coming up and we are going to do a video on a few of the things that can happen to trans folks on this holiday. We also are working with and organization this week so check below for details.
Some of the things you could talk about this week are,
1. Has Halloween ever given you the chance to play with your gender before coming out?
2. Do you think playing with gender for this one night is a good thing overall? Does it make people more open to playing with gender?
3. Do you think in general Halloween is a safe environment for this type of gender expression? Or is it still risky to dress as the opposite gender no matter what. |
