MA Attorney General Issues Final Earned Sick Time Regulations
 The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office (AGO) has issued final regulations regarding the new Massachusetts Earned Sick Time Law approved by voters last November. Employment Law Poster Updates
 This year, 21 states and the District of Columbia raised their minimum wage rates - bringing more than half of US states above the federal minimum. Many states have also made additional changes to other mandatory workplace notices concerning unemployment, workers' compensation, and family and medical leave. Make sure your business has the most up-to-date mandatory posters required by both the federal and state governments.

Chicago Minimum Wage Ordinance Effective July 1, 2015
Chicago's Minimum Wage Ordinance went into effect on July 1 of this year for all covered employers and employees. The Ordinance raises the minimum wage for Chicago workers to $13 per hour by 2019.

New York City Joins "Ban the Box' Movement
 New York City has passed a new bill restricting an employer's ability to inquire into or obtain information about a job applicant's criminal history before extending a conditional offer of employment.

DOL Issues Updated FMLA Notices and Forms
 The US Department of Labor (DOL) recently issued new versions of its Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) notices and certification forms, which have been approved for use for the next three years.

BCBS Announced New Identity Protection Services
 In order to ensure the safety and security of its customers, all Blue Cross plans will offer free identity protection to eligible members by January 1, 2016.
