MA Employers Must Take Action: Attorney General Issues Final Earned Sick Time Regulations
 
The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office (AGO) has issued final regulations regarding the new Massachusetts Earned Sick Time Law approved by voters last November. The final regulations include many needed clarifications and several employer-friendly provisions intended to allow employers to address employee fraud.

Supreme Court Ruled in Favor of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
 
On June 25, 2015, The Supreme Court upheld in a 6-3 decision that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) insurance subsidies, under President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul, will remain available to all Americans.

PCORI Fees Due by July 31, 2015, for Plan Years Ending in 2015
 
Initial mandates include a new fee imposed on employers and insurance carriers for seven years. Due July 31st, this fee is now set to affect clients with plan years ending 2012 through 2019
