WFC Welcomes Worcester Historical Swordsmanship

Historical Fencing
With the closing of the Higgins  Armory, Maestro Ken Mondschein will be bringing his historical fencing classes to the Worcester Fencing Club beginning in November. We are very excited to welcome the Worcester Historical Swordsmanship program to our facility.

Congratulations Intramural Fencers!
Congratulation to everyone who participated in our first Intramural. Fencers had a chanc e to get a taste of fencing competition, with pool and direct elimination bouts. Pictures of our finalists can be found at our website.

Private Lessons

Augment Your Training
Need a little extra help with that new technique? Private lessons are a great way to improve your game! Private lessons are available by appointment, and there are several coaches and times available. Syd is available on Wednesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Tuesday morning or early afternoon. Bill Shipman, the head coach at Brandeis University is available on Wednesday evenings. Dave Brown, head coach at WPI will also be available by appointment on a limited basis. Cost is $30 per lesson which last 20-30 minutes.

Memberships expire on July 31st, so you may need to renew. Everyone fencing at the Worcester Fencing Club must have a current membership. You can check your status and renew if necessary here.
