Private Lessons
|
Augment Your Training
Need a little extra help with that new technique? Private lessons are a great way to improve your game! Private lessons are available by appointment, and there are several coaches and times available. Syd is available on Wednesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Tuesday morning or early afternoon. Bill Shipman, the head coach at Brandeis University who has previously given lessons here, will be available on Wednesday evenings. He will need a commitment from 3-4 fencers, so please contact Syd if you are interested. Dave Brown, head coach at WPI will also be available by appointment on a limited basis. Cost is $30 per lesson which last 20-30 minutes.

Six Weapon Unclassified Competition |
Advance Registration Closes Wednesday!
Get a taste of competition against fencers from other clubs. This is a sanctioned event, so somebody will be earning an 'E' rating.
Register on-line at askfred.net. Pre-registration closes the Wednesday before the event, but register early -- the more people who are registered, the more likely other people will be to sign up. You must be a competitive member of US Fencing to participate. Talk to Syd if you need to borrow equipment.
Not ready for competition? Too young for this event? Spectators are welcome and admission is free!

Is the Pen Mightier Than The Sword? |

October 2. Open Fencing starts at 6:00 pm, pauses at 8:30 for the book party, and resumes later in the evening. Fencing is free for newcomers; food, drink, and literary greatness are free for all!
