Significant Changes Effective January 1, 2017
Significant changes in the 2014 NEC are coming January 1, 2017. Mike Johnston, NECA's Director of Safety & Standards, has put together a presentation that you can access - Most Significant Changes in the 2014 NEC. Mike is also the Chairman of the NEC Correlating Committee, which makes him the person most responsible for the development of the National Electrical Code to make sure it is practical, enforceable and easily understood. Santa Clara City Council Unanimously Approves $6.7B City Center Project 
The Santa Clara City Council gave the Related Companies the go-ahead it had been seeking for almost four years - the right to redevelop a 230-acre landfill in the northern part of the city into a mega development that at completion could include 5.4 million square feet of office, 1.1 million square feet of retail space, 16,80 residential units, 700 hotel rooms, 250,000 square feet of food & beverage space and 190,000 square feet of entertainment space.
