Certified Payroll Reporting
DIR's Electronic Certified Payroll Reporting (eCPR) System
|
Contractors and subcontractors on most public works projects are required to furnish certified payroll records (CPRs) to the Labor Commissioner, using DIR's new electronic certified payroll reporting (eCPR) system. Enforcement of this requirement is on hold but the eCPR system continues in operation. The DIR strongly encourages contractors and subcontractors to continue using the system while upgrades are in progress. Please refer to the attached bulletin issued by the DIR.

NECA is here to serve you, but we could use your help too. Consider being part of one of these dynamic committees. We are currently seeking representatives from each of our Chapter's five divisions - Alameda County, Solano/Napa Counties, Stockton, Modesto, and Technology Divisions. The Codes & Standards Committee and the East Bay Uniform Code Committee is designed to advance the cause of electrical safety and help improve the quality of electrical construction. Both committees are dedicated to providing a monthly forum where contractors, IBEW members, and electrical inspectors are exposed to current code practices, education, news and events. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month, starting with the Codes & Standards Committee at 5PM, followed by the East Bay Uniform Code Committee Educational Forum at 6PM. Dinner is included. Our Member Services Committee is comprised of members who discuss and plan various member events and activities, as well as provide relevant education and training for our contractors and their management staff. The committee meets quarterly at noon on Thursday. Lunch is provided. Our committees typically break from meetings during the months of June through August, and December. If you have any interest in serving on the above committees, please contact Juanita Mitchell. We encourage you to contact your Division chair to inquire about other opportunities to serve.
