They became a member of the Northern California Chapter, NECA in the summer of 1947, making them one of the longest termed members of the Northern California Chapter NECA.

 Request for Bid Protests, Monitoring, & Compliance
Services Provided by NCECI for NECA Contractors
NCECI is the labor compliance unit that helps level the playing field in the electrical contracting industry. Funded through our local LMCCs, NCECI will monitor public works projects for prevailing wage compliance, conduct site visits, interview workers, and file bid protests on your behalf.  684 Inside Construction Agreement
Preview of the Changes
 Negotiations for the Inside Construction Agreement between IBEW Local Union 684 and the Chapter's Modesto Division have concluded, with the member's ratification of the contract on February 10, 2015. Some of the changes include:
A three-year agreement commencing June 1, 2015, through May 31, 2018;
- New monies to be allocated by Local 684: $.60 each on June 1, 2015, December 1, 2015, June 1, 2016, December 1, 2016, June 1, 2017, December 1, 2017;
- Adding a new Zone C at the 65+ mile range;
- Changing the 'Out of Work' list to the 'Available for Work' list;
- Change in the LMCC contribution rate;
- Change Foreman and General Foreman to workmen ratio;
- Increase in the reimbursement of stolen tools amount to $1,400;
- Change the current defined contribution pension plan to a 401k plan.
Other specific details will be distributed upon approval by the International IBEW and National NECA. The parities also agreed to develop an IBEW/NECA approved Drug Free Workforce Program.

Far from your typical meeting, NECA Now 2015 is a three-day Executive Leadership Conference focused on your professional and personal growth. Along with networking and social events, the format of the conference is to bring forward ideas to make your business more successful.

 District 9 Meeting
Laguna Beach
Registration is open for the NECA District 9 meeting, July 9-10,2015, at the Montage Laguna Beach. The attached registration form includes the itinerary, lodging and golf (optional) information. Early registration is recommended, as it is likely the group block will sell out before the final reservation date of June 1st. The drive time from either LAX or San Diego airports is about 1-1/2 hours. From John Wayne Airport (Orange County), 30-40 minutes.
