Burlingame
2014 Drive for History

The Museum is excited to announce the second annual Drive For History Golf Tournament at Burlingame  to be held Friday, September 5th. Tee time will be 1 pm. Burlingame will provide food after play.

Captain's Choice, a 4-man team is $400.

Each registered player will be entered into the drawings for door prizes, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be given.  Thanks to Egolf there will be a hole in one prize of a new car!

This is an excellent opportunity to play a private course, and raise money for the Museum at the same time.  Please contact Rebecca Suddeth for sponsorship opportunities or more information about registering a team.

Sock Hop to aid Veterans

Tickets are $20 per person and reservations are required. Must be 21 to attend.  All proceeds go to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter  #14.

To make reservations or for more information contact the Silvermont Dance Club at 883-4347 or by email [email protected]
Threads of a Cowboy

Heritage Gifts recently received a number of posters showing the Threads of a Cowboy quilt, created in 2005 by Crystal Austin of Wisconsin, a friend of the Jim Bob Tinsley Museum (on Jordan Street from 1993-2007).  Crystal made the quilt with boot and hat blocks made from shirts worn and donated by some of the famous cowboy friends of Jim Bob, including Fess Parker, Ranger Rick Roltgen, Dusty Rogers, Gary Lemaster, Robert Wagoner, Clint Walker and Jim Bob Tinsley himself.

The posters 24" x 36" are numbered limited editions (only 100 were printed).  The price on each poster is $20.00.  Drop by and get yours today!
