Here is an interpretation of how Rahu in Virgo will affect you during the period from July 13, 2014 - January 8, 2016. Remember to look carefully at the dates allotted to the Sun Signs. Apr 14 - May 14 (Aries) This period is good for ambitious energy and may make you competitive or, at least, obsessed with getting things done. This is also a good time to focus on your health. Rahu can sometimes give vague complaints that are hard to pin down and treat. Putting positive energy into alternative healing modalities can be an effective counter measure.  

May 15 - Jun 14 (Taurus) During this time you might focus obsessively on your children, if you have children. It is a good time for creative projects and education, but it tends to bring a sense of being driven and obsessed with either or both of these areas.

Jun 15 - Jul 15 (Gemini)   During this transit, you might have a restless desire to make changes in your home or living environment. This could simply take the form of painting the walls or remodeling, or it could be as dramatic as a change of residence. This is a good time for upgrading your website or bringing technology into your home or office.

Jul 16 - Aug 16 (Cancer)   As Rahu transits Virgo, you will find yourself consumed or obsessed with gathering information. You might spend more time on the internet, surfing or researching information. Or you could simply find that this is a time that brings a larger dose of communicating with others.

Aug 17 - Sep 16 (Leo) Rahu's stay in Virgo could produce a more intense interest in finances for you. On the positive side, this could mean that you have a desire to work harder to make money. However, this transit is famous for bringing a desire to spend money too. As a suggestion, you might try resisting the urge to spend money for the next 18 months. Your mantra should be "I am thrifty and cautious with money." And while we're at it, you can do a similar mantra for speech. Instead of just saying everything you think, try saying less. It could be difficult to do, but it could also keep you out of hot water.   This is a good time to make changes in your diet, by the way.

Sep 17 - Oct 16 (Virgo)   This is a period that may get you to project your personality with greater energy. It can produce changes in a variety of domains. You could take on projects at work that become overwhelming and consume a great deal of energy, but the transit does promote ambitious energy. This is also a good time for delving into esoteric knowledge and technically advanced or scientific knowledge.

Oct 17 - Nov 15 (Libra) During this period, you might travel to an exotic place or a foreign country. If you don't like to travel or can't afford to travel, the period could simply bring a good deal of interest in alternative spirituality. Avoid the tendency to spend money if possible, because this transit also can produce expenses.

Nov 16- Dec 15 (Scorpio) While Rahu transits this sign, you could find yourself expanding your circle of friends, especially to include people who are different, foreign, technical, scientific, esoteric, or strange. This is a great placement for working hard and achieving goals. It is a good time to finish long term projects and for realizing goals or desires. But remember, in mythology, Rahu got what he wanted as well. But he also got his head cut off, which means his mind was agitated, despite achieving his goal. So make sure you also take time to rest, in the process of working towards you goals.

Dec 16 - Jan 13 (Sagittarius)   Rahu will be passing through your career house. This will give you a good deal of push and drive to get things done. This is usually a very good transit for achieving work-related goals and for promoting ambitious activities. It could also give you a desire to redefine your work in some way.

Jan 14 - Feb 12 (Capricorn)   During this period you might have a desire to travel. If so, you will be drawn to exotic places or foreign places. If you are in school, this is a time of fascination or obsession with the subject you are studying. This is also a good time for revolutionizing your belief system, or possibly for just being fascinated with alternative spiritual concepts.

Feb 13 - Mar 13 (Aquarius)   While Rahu is transiting in this sign, you could find yourself focusing on joint finances, partnership finances, or money coming through contracts or clients. You partner or spouse will probably have a tendency to spend money during this period. This period could bring a variety of significant changes in various areas of life.

 

Mar 14 - Apr 13 (Pisces)   This transit focuses on partnership or marriage. You might feel restless in your relationship. You could find that sometimes the people that you interact with in general, not necessarily your spouse, could behave like serpents, being manipulative or selfish.   This is a good time for revolutionizing the way you set up your relationships and culling out those relationships that are toxic. Avoid people who are addictive, obsessive, or manipulative. It's okay to need your own space.
