Happy Administrative Professionals Day to my friends and colleagues who are VAs and OBMs!

Those of us who dedicate our careers to being fabulous and phenomenal administrative support professionals to our clients (and employers) know that this is a special month for us.  It's a time to celebrate our importance and contribution that we give out of our love of and expertise in the administrative support role.  Back in my corporate days, my boss used to remind me often (not just once a year) that I was an important member of his team and he would tell his colleagues that I was "the person who ran the company".  How's that for appreciation?  Yup, I felt really special.

I recently finished my own certification as an OBM (Online Business Manager) -- boy my clients are lucky I haven't asked them to financially support the cost of my certification - haha!  They are, however, very lucky that they now benefit from my new certification and role in running their companies (teams, projects and operations).  I am actively moving my role away from being a VA and working primarily in an OBM role so you will begin seeing rebranding changes over the next month.
