We have brought you interesting features on alums from throughout the years, but now we would like to know who's story you think should be told.

 

Are you an alum that has a great tale to tell?  Did you perform with someone in your troupe that has gone on to do some really interesting things?  If so, let us know so that we can feature them in an upcoming issue.

Greetings!

The summer season might be over, but the Wisconsin Singers is just heating up!  If you read last month's edition, you know that our Friends and Family performance was a great success.  This month we coordinated and hosted our first ever Homecoming music showcase, where we featured music groups from all across campus in a night of great entertainment.  If you want to find out how it went, be sure to read my article below.

Our 45th annual reunion events and On Campus shows are fast approaching.  The Singers are heavy in rehearsals and just finished the recording of the 45th annual CD for release that weekend.  It will most definitely be a night you'd hate to miss and will never forget!  Details on the event can be found on the newsletter so reserve your tickets now.

Singers Homecoming Showcase  
 
  

This past week, the University celebrated Homecoming, which was a week filled with events across campus for Madison students to participate in.  Through the outstanding efforts of our Singers family, headed by one of our amazing project manger's Moeko Komoda, the Wisconsin Singers was able to launch our first ever Singers Homecoming Showcase!

Miss Mia Akers is a sophomore from Naperville, Illinois studying communication arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She's been a member of the Singers family for 2 years performing on stage as a Singer/Dancer.

Mad-Town Halloween Freak Fest

   
Two weekends ago Madison celebrated Halloween weekend and what's a Mad-Town Halloween without Freakfest?! I unfortunately (or fortunately...you decide) was not able to attend the coveted Madison Freak Festival celebration, but check out these amazing pictures of the event courtesy of Madison.com. As my roommates described it, it was "a night full of surprises..some worse than others."
