Discovery Full Circle Experience for Client Practitioners
You know your perception of how you use the colour preferences; have you ever wondered what colour energies people see in you? Come experience your own Discovery Full Circle profile and find out!
In this one-day session, we will offer our Insights Discovery practitioners a brief experience and debrief of their own DFC profile and then spend a little time discussing how and when to deliver DFC experiences within your organization. You'll also walk away with the opportunity to use the DFC profile right away as you'll receive one complimentary profile to practice a DFC debrief. You may not realize that the Insights Discovery Full Circle (DFC) Profile is the perfect complement to the Insights Discovery Personal Profile, and represents the next step on the journey to self-awareness.
The Full Circle experience provides a practical and positive way of helping individuals become more effective by exploring their self-perception and the perception others have of them. It gives leaders and individuals a deeper insight into their style and how this impacts those around them. Isn't it time you experienced your own DFC profile?
Calgary - Thursday, July 21st with Helen Morley
Vancouver - Thursday, July 21st with Connie Phenix
Cost - $99.00
Insights Discovery Accreditation
Calgary - September 27-30 (Tue-Fri) Vancouver - November 1-4 (Tue-Fri)
There are now over 30 public and internal Accreditations every year across North America, which demonstrates how many organizations are choosing to bring Insights Discovery 'in house'. In Western Canada, we always end up with a waiting list for IDA sessions, so if you're considering attending an IDA in a city near you, don't hesitate.
CP Renewals
A one-day interactive session for Insights Discovery Client Practitioners committed to keeping their learning alive. Renewals extend your Insights Discovery certification for another two years. While each program is adjusted to meet the needs of the registered participants, a typical day addresses questions such as:
- What exercises can I use to reinforce key messages in a personal effectiveness workshop?
- What do I need to remember when debriefing an individual's Insights Discovery Profile?
- How can I apply other chapters in the Insights Discovery Profile?
- What is common, and different, as you transition from an introductory workshop to Discovering Team Effectiveness or Discovering Leadership Effectiveness?
- What's the difference between an integrated Insights learning strategy and single event workshops?
- What new resources might fit with the needs in my organization?

Regional Manager Visits Canada West
Wilco Vlaar, Regional Manager Canada and Europe for Insights Global, visited Calgary and Vancouver just last week. This wasn't Wilco's first visit to Canada but it was his first opportunity to connect with key personnel from all the regional offices in Canada to discuss Canada-wide opportunities.
Insights Canada West hosted a 'meet-'n-greet' barbeque in Calgary where Wilco had the opportunity to relax and enjoy some good old-fashioned western hospitality. Over the next few days, Wilco met with folks from Insights Atlantic, Insights Toronto, and Insights Canada West to discuss alignment with the overall global strategic plan. Prior to flying home to The Netherlands, Wilco spent a few hours in the Vancouver office where he met with Learning Consultants and Client Services staff and answered questions.
"There is so much brilliance here", Wilco said of the Insights Canada West team. "I want to leverage this strength to support our entire business across Canada".
The trip gave Wilco and Canadian managers the opportunity to strengthen connections between the regional offices as well as more closely connect to Global offices in Dundee. "I've come to believe my main responsibility is to facilitate change - in essence, to become a change leader. My focus has to be on finding the potential, both from the business and in its people, and in creating space where that potential can be realised. It's not for me to come charging in with ideas, solutions or changes; I would much rather be open to ideas, solutions, and change, and be the key that unlocks these."
"Dahnk yuh vel" Wilco! We look forward to seeing you again soon, and maybe next time you'll have an opportunity to do a little sight-seeing in Vancouver.

Business plans - like anything else these days - have undergone a transformation. The idea of a five-year plan seems impossible in today's economy. Yet the emphasis should be on the process, the learning and the thinking - not necessarily the documented result. The Harvard Business Review recently ran this article on Strategic Planning. Are you looking to develop senior leaders? Exactly what are the most important leadership competencies? Check out this article.
