Emerald Green was chosen by Pantone as the color of the year for 2013. It just so happens to be one of my favorite colors and over the years I have had Emerald Green some ware in every home I've lived in. Being the type of person that loves everything about flowers, gardens, and collecting antiques it is the perfect complement to everything else I am fond of. Those of you that read my December 2012 newsletter noticed that my Den walls are painted Emerald Green to color coordinate with my Department 56 Snow Village. The ongoing joke at our house is that Terry's NASSCAR Team collection has to color coordinate.

If you love the color green you're typical traits are to be practical and reliable. Nurturing yourself and others is important to you. The color green possesses equal amounts of blue and yellow, green suggests health and prosperity. Words like fresh, or renewed comes to mind when you think a about the color green. The first thing that I see in my yard in spring is the green foliage of my daffodils, then the beautiful yellow blossoms against the blue sky. LOVLEY!
