Rector's Reflections
Drawn into Relationship, Guided into Truth

The doctrine of the Trinity invites us to consider how a God constituted by relationship-the Father with the Son, the Son with the Spirit, the Spirit with the Father-draws us into that relationship with God and one another. Gradually or suddenly, through the work of the Spirit, we come to know our belonging to the Father and to Christ's body.

In such loving relationships, truth is discovered. But people cannot bear the truth all at once, so discipleship and faith formation are gradual processes of listening for the Spirit's voice. Christian practices such as worship, learning, and service are occasions for people of all ages to be "guided into truth." Such practices are rooted in baptism, in which God draws us into a lifelong relationship in which we grow into truth and love over time-guided by the Spirit, accompanied by Jesus, and having peace with the Father.

In Romans, we hear the truth of how love originates and grows in us: Poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, God's love gives us a hope that will never disappoint. Christian community offers the delightful opportunity to experience one's own growth in hope, faith, and love, and to witness others' growth as they too are drawn more deeply into relationship with the triune God. Trinity Sunday offers the delightful opportunity to celebrate that growth. [Sundays and Seasons, 2016]

Come to worship om Sunday and be drawn into the relational dance of the Holy Trinity anew through Word proclaimed and sung and Sacraments shared as the people God has gathered as All Saints' Wolfeboro.

Blessings in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit+

Blessings+
Bill
New Office Hours
Mon, Wed, Thur: 9am - Noon
Tue: 1pm-5pm
Fri: Closed
Our new parish administrator, Debra Hoyt was introduced to the congregation at both services on Pentecost Sunday. In the photo Debra poses at coffee hour with Danielle Pierpont and Carolyn Sundquist.

One Service Sunday, June 5th
Mark your calendar for June 5th at 9:00 am when we will gather in worship and celebrate our music ministry, choir and bless our new Johannes organ.
From the Music Corner
Our long-awaited new organ has arrived and been installed, and your music director could not be more thrilled!

Here's hoping you are already enjoying the smooth and varied sounds that are beginning to emanate from the loft. Pastor Bill and others tell me they are leaving doors open so they can hear my practice while they are in meetings. My dear Ralph jokes about becoming an "organ widow". There's no question that my desire to play frequently has escalated!

Your ASEC leadership is planning and anticipating a very special dedication service on Sunday, June 5th, with ONE SERVICE at 9 AM. Special organ pieces will be chosen for the prelude and postlude, and our choir will be offering a special "end of season" anthem that day..... "When We Worship God Through Music". The choir is also providing our coffee hour food that morning, so please join us for a wonderful time of musical worship and then fellowship, expressing our gratitude to God for the gift of instrument and song!

Blessings and joy,
Holly

PS Try to come by 8:45 AM on June 5th to enjoy the Prelude selections on our new organ!
Fair Kickoff from Charlie & Lynne
Following the 9AM service on June 5th all hands are needed to help move items from the outreach garage to the Parish Hall (undercroft). Also, for committee chairs, we are having a brief meeting between services on June 12th to discuss plans and any concerns. For those who can't attend we will email notes from the meeting to all chairpersons.
Snowbird Shots and Slideshow from Phil
All Saints' Rector
Bill Petersen and
Dianne Wasmuth are respledent in their purple attire for the Snow Bird Potluck dinner on May 13th.
Lee White and Sandy McBeth

Mary Williams is a rose among many thorns at the Snowbird Pot Luck Dinner.

The home cooked food was fabulous at the Pot Luck Dinner.

The twelve minute slide show was shown at the Snowbird Pot Luck Dinner that was held at our church on May 13th.

The slide show captures some of the events that have taken place since the beginning of the new year.  The heart of the slide show is the Holy Easter Season that was captured by Christy Parker. Our Rector, Bill Petersen, provided the photos from the Hops and Hymns at Hobbs. Our church is a busy place as our parishioners serve God thru service. You will enjoy the slide show, and just click on the web site and then click on Start Slideshow.  The slide show will run automatically.

Sincerely,
Phil Wasmuth

CROP Walk May 22
Calling all those who care about fighting hunger and poverty, promoting peace and justice!  This year's CROP WALK will be on May 22 starting at 1pm from the First Congregational Church, Wolfeboro. Join All Saints', First Congregational, North Barnstead church confirmation class, KRHS Knights Against Hunger, Life Minstries Board Members and other community members as we raise money and awareness to end hunger one step at a time.

How can you participate?  Be a walker.  We walk because people around the world walk for clean water, to school, to support their families.  Let's make visible our concern and action around the issue of poverty and hunger around the world.  If you would like to be a walker, email Susan Fuller at [email protected] to get the materials you need to walk.

You can also sponsor a walker. Walkers will be available at coffee hours beginning May 8 to sign up sponsors and accept donations.  Or you can make a donation online for the All Saint's Team by going to All Saints' Church - Wolfeboro CROP Hunger Walk
