Sunday Service
8 AM - Holy Eucharist
10AM - Holy Eucharist with Choir & Church School
Rector's Reflections

This Sunday we celebrate the Holy Trinity. When we say God is the triune God, we are saying something about who God is beyond, before, and after the universe: that there is community within God. Our experience of this is reflected in Paul's words Sunday in Romans 8:12-17 [Living by the Spirit]. When we pray to God as Jesus prayed to his Abba (an everyday, intimate parental address like Daddy), the Spirit prays within us, creating between us and God the same relationship Jesus has with the one who created us and sent him.

See you in worship!

Photo Directories are in!

Photo Directories are In! If you participated in the photo directory, please pick up your directory in the back of the church. Each directory has the parishioners name on it. If you were not able to participate, and wish to receive a directory, please write your name on the list on bulletin board in the parish hall and we will see that you have one reserved for you. We only received a small number of extra directories. If you have any questions, please contact Donna in the office. Thank you.

Please Do Not Feed the Animals

Recently we have had ant and mice problems in the kitchen area, please be sure to secure any food in plastic snap containers or in the refrigerator, do not leave open food, candy, boxes of crackers, etc. in any area, counter or closet. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Advent to Easter
by Phil Wasmuth

Last week's slideshow by Phil Wasmuth did not have an active link. Here it is again... functioning, we hope!

Sharing God's Blessings:
Obey Responsibly

Glorify God as a faithful proclamation of God's word. We acknowledge our faith and show our faith in the gospel for the glory of God and for the building up of the body of Christ. This takes courage. It involves our life-long obedience, including the ways we treat our families, others, and ourselves.

"...you glorify God by your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ." 2 Corinthians 9:13

Discernment Help Wanted

Discernment is discovering God's will for us. This is an ongoing process that continues throughout our lives by:

*Listening for God's guidance by praying, meditating, and reading Holy Scripture.
*Looking for clues in our lives.
*Paying attention when others point out our gifts.
*Noticing which activities, accomplishments, and interactions bring us joy. "... the fruit of
the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." (Galatians 5:22-23)
*Being open to discovering potential gifts by trying something new...

Ministry Opportunities at All Saints'

*Eucharistic Minister (needed for 8:00 and 10:00 am worship)

*Lector readers (needed for 8:00 and 10:00 am worship)

*Ushers (needed for 10:00 am worship)

Are you a praying person? Do you know that there is a team of saints in our congregation that that connects with one another and shares prayer requests? If you would like to learn more, or participate, please contact the church office or Penny Meyerhopefulpenny@gmail.com

Are you a mission minded person? Do you know that there is a mission fund at All Saints' to support ministry beyond our work together as a congregation? If you would like to learn more, or participate, please contact the church office, Susan Fuller sfuller5277@yahoo.com or Beth Smith bethsmith967@outlook.com.

Are you a development or fun-raising person? If you would like to learn more, or participate on a team for the next few months, please contact the church office, our Junior Warden Andy Milligan handyandy@metrocast.net or Pastor Bill pastorbillpetersen@gmail.com.

Music for Life Recital

On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17th at 6:45 PM the All Saints family is invited to join Holly Simons and the students of her "Music For Life" studio for an evening of sharing a variety of piano and vocal music. You will enjoy some of our own parishioners sharing their talents and the results of their ongoing musical studies. Light refreshments will be served in the library following the presentations. If you think you'd like to attend, please email Holly at holly.simons@gmail.com and let her know.

Summer Fair July 18

There will be a meeting of all the booth chairs at 9:15 am between services this Sunday, 5/31. We look forward to planning for this Summer's Fair! The undercroft will be set up after the 10:00 am service on Sunday, June 7th. Strong arms and willing workers are appreciated! Sorting of donated items will begin in earnest on Monday, June 8th. If possible, please wait to make donations until that time. Sign-up sheets for the booths have been posted on the bulletin board in the undercroft. If you are unable to attend or have any questions or suggestions, call Susie or Peter Walker (544-3199). As relative newcomers, we welcome your valuable input and assistance. Thank you.

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study will begin on Monday, June 1st, at 1:00pm at All Saints' Episcopal Church in the Stevens Room. The topic-style study is entitled "Seasons Of Life", authored by Rev, Charles R. (Chuck) Swindoll. It is an all time favorite, with various Scriptures that we will discuss in class for our one hour session each week. If you have any friends, family or neighbor ladies who may be interested, please invite them to join us, ALL are welcome. No special church affiliation, background or advanced knowledge is necessary, this is an interesting, contemporary and fun study for anyone - it's just one beggar telling another where to find bread, The Bread of Life!

Thank you,

Joyce Lake

Volunteer Driver Needed

A mother from Wolfeboro is looking for a ride to Tilton each Saturday or Sunday from 1 pm until 3 pm. If anyone is willing to drive her there and back, please contact the church office.

ITO Ingathering May 31

All Saints invites all parishioners to bring in the contents of their "Blue Boxes" for the semi-annual Ingathering of the United Thank Offering, Sunday, May 31. These coins (or a check for the amount of the coins) represent Episcopalians' daily expressions of thanksgiving for their blessings. Many keep their Blue Box on the dresser and deposit coins into it at the end of the day. Each June, a church-wide UTO committee reviews applications and makes grants from the total funds collected. One recipient was an isolated parish in the South that needed a used van to transport youth to various church events. Years ago, our own parish received a grant to fund our first electric lift for worshippers and visitors with disabilities to access the sanctuary from the ground floor. These Ingatherings total close to $2 million each year and assist evangelism, hospitality and mission goals at home and abroad.

Life Ministries

All Saints is going to be featuring a food monthly that is in need for the Life Ministries Food Pantry. We welcome any and all donations of non-perishable items. May's food is dry spaghetti. Please place donations in the basket in the narthex. Thank you for all donations!

The Art of Last Things: Conversations and Resources for Living and Dying
