Summer Fair  - July 19

Message from our Fair Chairs - Pam and Harry

ONE WEEK to go until Fair Day! Tents-R-Us will be setting up the tents on Wednesday. On Thursday afternoon the tables will be brought from the Haegers' barn and at 4PM Thursday we ask that many "strong arms" come and help with the setting up of the tables in their appropriate booths. It would be most helpful if all Booth Chairs could be present so that the tables are set up as they wish. Saturday morning starting at 6.30AM many hands will be needed to help move all the items from the undercroft and the classrooms to the various booths in order to be ready for the opening of the Fair at 10AM. We will continue to receive donations until Tuesday. That will enable volunteers to complete the sorting and pricing and be ready for Saturday. Fair Chairs Pam and Harry will be available in the undercroft between services this Sunday to address any questions or concerns regarding  the Fair. We look forward to a wonderful day next Saturday!

Calling All Bakers for The Fair

We desperately need many, more people to step up to the plate and bake for our church fair. Pies are the biggest sellers - but all freshly baked cookies and bars are appreciated. The fair chairs are very busy getting their booths ready, so those parishioners who can bake, please bring them either the night before - well labeled" For the Fair" Friday evening  or the morning of the fair. Thanks for your anticipated response to our appeal. Our supply has dramatically decreased each year - and especially the past 2 years when the temperatures proved very hot and humid.

Raffle Baskets Needed! The Summer Fair will include a Basket Raffle again this year. Donation forms are on the bulletin board in the undercroft or send an email to csundquist@roadrunner.com or call 544-2389 with information on the basket theme. We are starting a little late, so apologies for the short timeframe, but if you could let us know that you are donating a basket by July 1st and have the baskets at the church by July 5th so we can start selling tickets, it would truly be appreciated! Many thanks! Jan Smith and Carolyn Sundquist.

Fair Angels: This is a campaign for donating before fair takes place so that we start the fair debt free: tents and other expenses are paid for from these funds.

If you are interested in being a "fair angel", please contact Martha Cross at 569-9421.

Got mower?

The church is in need of a gas powered push mower to use on church grounds, if anyone has one, please contact the church office at 569-3453. Thank you.

Ted's last Service and Celebration
Sunday 6/29/14

In case you missed it, here is the link to Phil Wasmuth's most recent slideshow. It chronicles Ted's two years serving All Saints as well as his final service and reception on 6/29/14. After clicking on the web site, the download tab is located at the far right. Click on Download, and slideshow. Then from the drop down menu click on either Mac or Windows. The downloaded program can then be moved to a folder on your desktop for ease of viewing.

Coffee Hour Sign Ups

It is again time to sign up for coffee hour for the 10 o'clock service for July, August and September.  Donna Young has posted the sign up sheet in the under croft and I am hoping that all of you will take a look at the list, buddy up with someone and sign up.

If you would rather provide food and not serve, just let me know.  Also if you are nervous about the coffee makers and/or the dishwasher, I can help with that also.

Many hands make light work and lots of smiles and appreciation from the congregation.

Thank you for your assistance,

Anne Hunt. 569-5650
