Youth Group Event

CityReach Trip - Used Clothing Needed

Members of the youth group will be participating in CityReach, an overnight urban outreach program on the weekend of April 11. They will have an opportunity to learn firsthand about homelessness from people who have experienced it. Prior to the trip, they will be gathering together used  clean clothing to take with them. There will be a collection bin at the back of the church for donations for comfortable, rugged clothing, mostly men's large sizes, spring to summer weight.  Hooded sweatshirts and sweat pant are good examples.

e-Visitor Sent
What did you think?

The first electronic Visitor was e-mailed last week. Please give any feedback (good, bad or indifferent) to the church office regarding the electronic sending of our most recent bi-monthly newsletter. The decision was made to try this way to save printing cost, postage and assembly time. We want to know what you think.

Faith and Science... on the SAME Planet

The Congregational church will be hosting this 4-week course and has invited All Saints to participate. It will be held in our library from 4:00 pm until 5:15 pm every Tuesday in May. What can we learn from the Bible and Biblical Scholars? How do we make sense out of the scientific literature and what Christians are saying about science? What are some of the latest publications saying about the controversy? Do we have to make a choice between believing in evolution and believing in our Christian faith? Come one, come all and let's wrestle with the current news and challenging issues of science and religion. Instructors:  David Van Arsdale and Adam Van Arsdale.

Dave Van Arsdale has been a pastor for 40 years serving churches in five states including the last 8 years as the Pastor at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City, AZ. Dave and his wife Ellen retired a year ago and are spending the summer of 2014 in Wolfeboro.  Adam is a professor of Anthropology at Wellesley College and recently complete a 12-week internet class on Human Evolution. Adam and Helene live in Wellesley and have taught at Wellesley College since 2008.

From the Music Corner

Mark your calendars!

Sunday, March 30th will provide a unique 10 AM service for All Saints, FCCW and our broader community.

The combined choirs and staff of our two churches will be offering "None Other Lamb", a Lenten "lessons and anthems" that will provide the musical sermon that day.

With special readings, reflective anthems, two Messiah selections, and instrumental offerings, our service that day will provide an unusual opportunity for worship in this special season.

Plan to join us, and invite family and friends.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Habitat for Humanity

In March, Megan Lander will commit seven days to Lesley University 14th annual Alternative Spring Break. She will be volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in Columbia, SC on their mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Throughout the week, she will work side by side with future homeowners and residents while learning about important issues such as rural poverty and affordable housing in the US. As a participant, one of Megan's major responsibilities is to help raise funds to support the trip. Any donation will be a great help. Please direct these funds to the church office and we will see that Megan receives them. Thank you.

Ted's Sermon's Available Online

Even if you aren't in the pews on Sunday, you don't have to miss Ted's message. Thanks to Ralph Simons, sermons are now available in MP3 format to download off of the All Saints' website. Take a listen... and thank you, Ralph!

Food Pantry Needs

Thank you for remembering Life Ministries Food Pantry. We welcome donations of non-perishable items. Please place them in the basket in the narthex. Other items needed are supplies for babies and mothers (diapers size 3-5, wipes, toothbrushes/paste, personal hygiene items, shampoo and clothing for children).
