Free Vision Screening 11/22

The Wolfeboro Lions Club will be visiting All Saints' Preschool on November 22nd at 10 am to offer a free vision screening to the children.

Any child in the area is eligible for this free screening. It is open to all children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years. This screening is done with a Welch Allyn Sure Sight vision machine, there is no contact with the child and no eye drops are used.

This is a community service offered by the Lions and tests can detect common vision problems including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, strabismus, anismometropia, and cataracts, any of which can deter a child's intellectual and or physical growth process. Tests are interpreted by eye specialists Lori and Steve Kirwan of Wolfeboro Eye Associates. If you are interested, our preschool has permission slips that need to be filled out and

returned.

Festival of Trees Idea

What does everyone in the congregation think about doing a tree with items for the food pantry on it for the Festival of Trees? I will be happy to assemble the tree once goods are delivered. Light boxes and items could adorn the top with canned goods and larger items on the bottom as a festive tree skirt. Please let me know your ideas so that I know how to proceed.

Thank you,

Donna - Church Office
