July Vestry Forum
|
Topic for the Vestry Forum is Parish Core Values. As part of the revision of the parish website, it was determined that this revision needed to include a section on parish core values, now a part of many other parish websites. We did not have such a document. When Canon to the Ordinary & Deployment Hannah Anderson met with the RSC and vestry, she shared the list of core values from her former parish. Sr. Warden Lee White, given the time pressure to get the website revised, took the list from Hannah, reviewed other similar lists, reflected on his experience of All Saints' and wrote a set of core values for our revised website. On Sunday, we will review what he wrote and is now on our live site, compare it with other similar lists, reflect on the purpose of parish core values and have a discussion about what might be added, subtracted, revised. We will not try to re-write what we have on Sunday morning, rather have a discussion and make suggestions for possible revisions of what we now have on our website.
