The Longest Night of the Year
 Worship Service
Thursday,  December 20th, 7pm
First Congregational Church of Wolfeboro

Come for a quiet time of worship,
an intimate time of reflection.
For not all of us find it easy to be robust in our joy
this Christmas season.

Come and tenderly worship,
even in the midst of sorrow, fear,
disappointment, and anxiety.
We will nurture the dampened embers together.

Ted and Rev. Gina M. Finocchiaro will be officiating this service together.
"We Need a Little Christmas"
Even Santa is feeling the pinch this year. A couple of his elves retired, so fulfilling all of the children's requests is difficult. Sue Benson from the Wolfeboro Welfare office is looking for temporary elves--or angels--to help Santa. Please consider adopting a local child or family this year; let 's make sure that our area children won't be disappointed on Christmas morning.  No resumes to send, no tests to take--you will be hired on the spot! Call Sue Benson at 569-8151 for more information.
First Nite Donations and Volunteers Needed

First Nite 2013 is fast approaching and we will again be having our Lasagna Dinner as a church fundraiser. Donations will be needed for the ingredients. We need volunteers for set up, servers and clean up. Lists will be put up next Sunday in the parish hall. Please plan on contributing in some way to this fundraiser. Also, spread the word about this event. Thank you.
