The Downey Theatre Performing Arts audience witnessed history in the making as the 2ND  Annual Miss Latina Global and Miss Teen Latina Global Cultural Pageants were presented together onstage. 
 
A very excited crowd kicked off the evening by enjoying a joyous evening of Latino culture presented by a dedicated and hard-working group of beautiful and talented young Latina women.  As the red velvet curtains slowly hoisted, the massive colored moving laser lights flood the stage...behold..in front of their eyes are all the Delegates on stage in their lavish national costumes and amazing smiles!!!  What an exciting opening number.  This successful and historic event would not have been possible without months of preparation by each Delegate.  Seemingly impossible dreams came true for the Delegates, as they were heartily welcomed on stage by an appreciative standing room only audience.  After three categories of intense competition in both pageants, the distinguished panel of judges selected the graceful and stunning, Grecia Garcia from Jalisco, Mexico as Miss Latina Global 2013 and, representing Sinaloa, 17-year old Karla Mercado became Miss Teen Latina Global 2013.
