In the title story
Will You Please Listen, Please the book cover picture depicts a scene from the title story.  In the story the wife is wearing a short robe and is naked underneath.  This picture uses artistic license to change that.  The story alternates between the wife and husband with ***** showing the change in point of view character
.

     She could hear the annoyance in his voice.  She was interrupting him; bothering him.  But that was how things got started down here.  Come down and distract him with her big boobs he so loved.  Or at least, he once seemed to love. All she needed to do was step in front of the TV in her robe.  Maybe even sit on his lap, that would get his attention.

 But what if he doesn't pay attention to me and just watches TV?
     She needed him upstairs.  She needed him to show her he needed her.  She needed to be needed.
     "No thanks," she replied.  "I ran a bath. You could join me."
* * * * *
     Of course she didn't want to watch the movie with him.  That would mean sex.  She'd have to sit in his lap and she couldn't sit there without getting him in the mood.  Why did he even bother to ask?  She drew a bath.  So what?  She had to interrupt his movie to tell him that.

     No answer from Adam disheartened Tracy.  He wasn't listening.  She had to get his attention, because if she didn't this was going to all go wrong.  She stepped from around the chair and stood between him and the television.  He leaned to look past her at the TV.
     He doesn't even care that I'm wearing nothing but this robe he loves!
     Tracy pulled on the robe as if adjusting it and pulled the top open enough to show some serious cleavage.  She still didn't have his attention.
     "I'm probably going to bed after my bath," she said softly.
* * * * *
     When Tracy stepped in front of him, Adam felt the blood rush to his head.
     Get the hell out of the way! You're blocking the TV!
     He was furious that she would block his view of the TV.  That scared him.  He was over-reacting.  Yet she had also worn his favorite robe to rub his nose in the fact that all that was off limits to him.  That stoked the fury even more.

The Last Thing I Wrote

I thought it'd be fun to share something I had just written.  You'll get no context just the last 100-200 words of the last thing I worked on before putting out the newsletter.  This is from book 3 of the Gods' Powers Trilogy  The Magi Harvest.

            Further into the house, a single large bed resided in the corner and its frame containing what looked like the finest pelts was made of steel.  There he found the middle-aged couple lying asleep.
            Ganan carefully removed his magi robe and brought it to the kitchen where it wouldn't get soiled. Naked except for two daggers on a leather belt around his waist, Ganan walked over to the bed and withdrew the daggers from their sheaths.
            The pent up excitement exploded in a fury of stabbing and slashing.  A dagger ran across each of their throats, cutting off any noise. The couple thrashed but Ganan crawled onto the bed and hacked and stabbed and slashed wildly until his passion subsided.
             He knelt amidst a red mess of flesh no longer recognizable as human.  He tossed the daggers onto the blood splattered wooden floor and then reached into the couple's bellies and pulled out handfuls of intestines.  The reek of shit, piss, bile and blood led him to close his eyes and savor the unique odor of death.
            Ganan opened his eyes as the lights in the house came on as if it were the top of the day.
