We'll have a handful of models available to shoot outside and inside at WorkShoots studios.  This is a TF shoot between models and photographers with a cost of $30 or one membership credit per photographer.

"TF" stands for Trade For and is usually followed by "digital images."  At WorkShoots our models trade their time for pictures from the shoot and what is traded varies by photographer.  Some photographers provide proof images, some a handful of finished images of their or the models choosing.  

"TF" is not working for free on the photographer's part or the model's part.  In a TF shoot the photographer is giving away their images to the model.  By the same token the model is giving up their time to pose for the photographer.

The question arises at times of what is a fair trade?  I approach all photo shoots as paid shoots and my rate for a shoot with all proof images is $125 an hour.  Models who work with me TF are getting an incredible deal, but I am valuing their work as a benefit to me or WorkShoots or both as a fair trade.

I've also gotten questions from models and photographers about paid shoots.  When a model is paid for a shoot, a photographer is under no obligation to give the model pictures from the shoot unless it is specifically called for in the work contract.

Models and photographers alike need to understand that "TF" is not working for free; it is working at an equal rate where the need to exchange cash balances out.  In paid shoots, a model must pay a photographer for images the photographer makes OR a photographer must pay a model for their time without providing images.
