March 2015

March means spring is right around the corner (if Mother Nature doesn't keep up with this winter fiasco). In Grand Rapids, it means the West Michigan Women's Expo at the DeVos Place Convention Center in downtown Grand Rapids. And the expo is the debut of the Great Lakes Authors Expo! Learn more about this in the article below.

Last month I said if I can get it done, Will You Please Listen, Please? will debut at the expo next month and if not will be released 4-14-15. I unveiled the cover last month and am proud to say the book was finished and WILL BE on sale at the Great Lakes Authors Expo!

Soul Bearer Harvest, book 2 of The Gods' Powers Trilogy has passed the first book's 830 page first draft. Read about how long the book may go and when the first draft may be done.

Releasing 3.13.15, this is Lawrence R. Heibel's second collection of short stories. 31 stories, 28 brand new stories and three reprints from my college years.

TWENTY EIGHT stories written over the past two years and three stories from my college years. The three returning stories are included because they were "revisited" with new stories following up on those stories.

The book's stories all have the same thread of looking at how we communicate with ourselves and others.

Great Lakes Authors is a diverse collection of authors from the Great Lakes area that are banding together to promote our books which represent a wide range of non-fiction and fiction titles. As a group we'll be featured at the West Michigan Women's Expo in downtown Grand Rapids at DeVos Place March 13-15.

The Great Lakes Authors Expo features 23 authors representing a total of 31 authors and their combined 77 book titles. We'll have books for sale at show pricing! Free bookmarks and an opportunity to have your books signed and a chance to talk to authors about their books, writing and themselves.
