February 2015

January is behind us already and I'm off to a good start this year. I won't summarize all the news here but did you see the logo change above? That's right! The cover of the next book is done and I am hustling to get the book to print in time for the Women's Expo March 13-15 in Grand Rapids where I'll be with 22 other authors at the first (annual?) Great Lakes Authors Expo!

I spoke at the Cascade Branch of the Kent District Library about my writing career last month and that went really well. I'm thrilled with the turnout, exposure and my ability to speak about myself and my writing without a panic attack.

If I can get it done, Will You Please Listen, Please? will debut at the expo next month and if not will be released 4-14-15. I'm unveiling the cover on the website on the 20th via my blog. Next month's newsletter I'll give you the background on where the new book comes from.

Soul Bearer Harvest, book 2 of The Gods' Powers Trilogy is more than half way through first draft and hope to wrap that up in April after which Metal Harvest will be revised.

So much story going on and new stories to read in the next 60 days!

Introducing: Great Lakes Authors!

Great Lakes Authors is a diverse collection of authors from the Great Lakes area that are banding together to promote our books which represent a wide range of non-fiction and fiction titles. As a group we'll be featured at the West Michigan Women's Expo in downtown Grand Rapids at DeVos Place March 13-15. We'll be promoting the Great Lakes Authors Expo featuring our authors and their books. We have 21 authors who'll be on hand and 64 books from a total of 24 authors represented. If you are an author with a book for sale, take a look at what we're doing at www.greatlakesauthors.org.
