December 2013 November was NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) NaNoWriM  o is a non-profit organization that promotes writing. In November they challenged everyone interested in writing to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. I completed the challenge with a total over 50,000 words! So now I have a fantasy novel about 1/3 the way complete. So on top of writing a short story every month, I have first drafts of two novels underway and a final revision and edit of a novel to complete! New Short Story The Woman Who Refused to Die Now Available

The Bird That Wouldn't Fly is January's short story release.
The title is the title of a children's book that a grandmother reads to her grand daughter. The children's story reveals a family truth that will have a profound effect on grandmother, mother and daughter.
The story will be released on Tuesday January 7.
