HUB TURNS 57 !
On March 24, 1957, Hub Construction Specialties came into existence as the dream of Bob Gogo. The goal was to provide
the Southern California construction with quality concrete accessories. Even though the days were long and tiring, Bob persevered and attained his goal which has always been consistent and foremost.
"Provide the customer with quality products, at a fair price, and with excellent service."
Bob has always sought to get and keep good employees, who believe that his statement holds true for them.
Thanks to the farsightedness of Bob Gogo, Hub is the successful business it is today, and thanks to all of Hub's valued customers for allowing Hub to be a part of their business life.

Friday night's earthquake was caused by the underground fault slipping for half a second, said U.S. Geological Survey seismologist Lucy Jones, prompting about 10 seconds of shaking at the surface.
But a 7.5 quake on the Puente Hills fault could cause the fault to slip for 20 seconds - and the shaking could last far longer.
Scientists say that quake would be more destructive than the so-called Big One on the San Andreas fault.

NEW T.V. SHOW
THIS SUMMER;
"Contractors in Love"
Here is the story line.
Johnny Concrete has a beautiful but sardonic wife, Jane, and three sons. The oldest, JJ, is now 19, in college, and working part-time for his father. Johnny has just started a difficult project building a concrete frame with lots of exposed architectural concrete. He stands to make good money on the job, but there are risks. To run the project he's promoted a project engineer, Martha, to superintendent. She is a single-mom, 35 years old, and prefers working in the field to the office. The project owner is a wheeler-dealer, the pain-in-the-butt Donald Trump-type who is always complaining about one thing or another.
