A Message from our President - Cindy Facteau
Hello San Diego!

Thank you to Gigi the Clown, Ricochet the Surf Dog, and Chopper the Biker Dog for joining us at Splash for Cash!
April is over - what a busy month! Thank you so much to everyone who supported us during this Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Balboa Park lit it up blue for World Autism Day, Pistachio Salon hosted their annual Cut-A-Thon for Autism, The San Diego Gulls featured our organization during their Power Play for Autism, and we hosted our annual resource fair at our Adult Information and Support Group. We ended the month with our 13th Annual Splash for Cash! Thank you so much to everyone who attended or contributed to the success of this fun event, including Gigi the Clown, Ricochet the Surf Dog, Chopper the Biker Dog, and our favorite San Diego Firefighters, who made sure everyone was well fed! Your contributions help fund our aquatics programs, including life saving swim lessons, our monthly family pool and gymnastics parties, and our Surf Camp!

Thank you to Bix Hirigoyen and Trey von Gortler from Beta Theta Pi at USD - they raised $536 for us with their Beta Theta Pi in the Face fundraiser!
We hope you are all enjoying our beautiful spring weather here in San Diego. Be sure to mark your calendar for all the great events we have coming up in May!

Have a great month!

Cindy
