A Word from our President
Nichole Hope Moore
Dear Autism Society Members & Supporters:

School is in full swing, Halloween is behind us,  and I am sure you are already thinking about Thanksgiving. If you are not, it is just a matter of weeks before your children will begin telling you what they want for Christmas. If you are like me, you're wondering about how to occupy your child during these future breaks and how to maintain structure and a routine. Well, this month's blog will feature social stories that may be helpful wth the breaks from our children's routine.

ALSO, our very own Tammy Anderson-Lee is a finalist for the 2014 Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award and if she wins, our aquatic programs receive $100,000! Please help us by voting daily for Tammy. We cannot do this alone and sincerely need your help. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Thankful,

Nichole Hope-Moore, President
SAVE THE DATE!

This special performance Autism Friendly performance of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! will be performed for children on the autism spectrum and their families, in a welcoming and supportive environment.  Slight adjustments will be made to production including fewer loud noises and flashing lights that may be challenging for some audience members.  More details on how to purchase discounted tickets to follow soon.  You will want to make this event an annual family holiday tradition.
