Fun Family Activities

December 2012

Michelle Brienza
We are ending the year on a high-note, interest rate wise. The Bank of Canada announced that interest rates are unlikely to go up in 2013.
Mark Carney outlines the reasons in an article below.

The rules have changed for people who are looking to purchase investment properties, so I've found a piece that answers some frequently asked questions.

You'll also find some ideas for holiday events and activities to keep everybody occupied during the holiday break.

The Nutcracker:  December 19th to January 5th

The Nutcracker has been a Christmas tradition in Toronto since 1995. It's playing at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts for just over 3 weeks this year.

From Toronto.com: The Nutcracker follows the adventures of siblings Marie and Misha as they encounter a fantasy world with mice, gingerbread soldiers and the Sugar Plum Fairy, all in the company of a broken nutcracker that comes to life. Choreographer James Kudelka reinvents the story by setting it in Imperial Russia.
