The Hamilton alumni chapter hosted King's professor, Dr. Nick Skinner, at the Art Gallery of Hamilton for a lecture and reception on November 8, 2012. The event was well attended and Skinner was thrilled to catch up with many of his former students who now live in the Hamilton area. The lecture, entitled Academic Folk Wisdom: Fact, Fiction and Falderal, was a look at the psychology of academia, unexpected predictors of success or failure, factors associated with different testing methods and some surprising research related to cheating. Following the talk, alumni were treated to a wine and cheese reception with Skinner.

It was a unique opportunity for an in-depth exploration of the exhibit and its artifacts led by the person who knows it best.
