Thank you to Carat's Fine Jewelry for your support!
Carats Fine Jewelry and Watches of Sarasota has awarded a $1737 grant to Girls Incorporated of Sarasota County. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for families needing financial assistance for after-school and summer camp programs. Greg Twarowski, owner of Carats, has been an avid community supporter for four years, regularly donating to more than ten local agencies. "There are many non-profit organizations providing valuable services to our community, but they unfortunately often come short on their budgets. Local businesses have a responsibility to pitch in, and even small donations go a long way when help comes from many venues," says Greg. His support of Girls Inc. began two years ago, with this most recent award coming from Greg's commitment to donate 5% of his May proceeds to the organization. |
