We appreciate the Schoenbaum Family Foundation for your generous donation for new TV cameras. Memory cards will prevent stories from being lost on bad tapes and will save time transferring footage from camera to computer. Special headphone jacks will allow camera operators to hear the audio while it is being recorded and correct technical difficulties on the spot. We are so excited. Thank you!

MicroSociety....This month, girls have the opportunity to transfer jobs within our society. All girls are completing a self evaluation of their work experiences thus far and may complete applications and interviews to apply to work in a new venture.

Media Lit.....Girls in K-8th grade are currently participating in Media Literacy, the National Girls Inc curriculum that is design to  increase their awareness of the scope and power of the media and the effects of media messages on girls and women.  They learn to analyze critically what they see and hear in the media, advocate for change in entertainment, news, and advertising media, and create images that are more realistic and reflective of their lives.

Ice Cream on the Patio

Here are some easy, kid-friendly recipes to enjoy for movie night, a back to school party, a hands-on kids party, or the super bowl. Whatever the event, make it a fun family time in the kitchen. Little hands in the kitchen now may be our future celebrity chefs.
