Summer is finally here and the graduation season is over. I am still in shock over the fact that my son, Jake will be starting high school in the fall. Time just flies so fast.

What's new in the Health Insurance World?

All carriers are still catching up with the many changes the Affordable Care Act has implemented. I want to again stress out that it is the responsibility of the policyholder to make sure that the payment of the premium is made in a timely fashion. Anthem has proven to be particularly difficult in that it will cancel clients who are past due. Please do set up an automatic payment draft, as this will secure that you pay on time and your insurance is not cancelled. Since we are currently outside the Open Enrollment Period , I cannot enroll clients due to missed payments.

From inside information sources I have heard that the premiums for 2015 will stay pretty stable, and that is welcome news.
