Scott Wilk Barrel Sponsor -
Scott Wilk for Assembly

In November of 2012, Scott Wilk was elected to represent the 38th Assembly District in the California State Assembly replacing Cameron Smyth who was termed-out. This district encompasses Wilk's hometown of Santa Clarita, as well as Simi Valley and northwestern San Fernando Valley.

As a result of his past legislative experience and ability to reach across the aisle, Assembly Speaker John Perez named Wilk Vice-Chair of the Assembly Rules Committee. The Assembly Rules Committee plays a crucial role in referring bills to Standing Committees and is vital for the success or failure of legislation.

Wilk also is a member of the following committees: Higher Education; Health; Business and Professions; and Arts and Entertainment. Sitting on the Health and Higher Education Committees really hits home for Wilk because of his experience serving on the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for College of the Canyons. Advocating for improving the quality of public education has been a top priority for Scott.

"It has been an honor to serve the people of the 38th Assembly District," Wilk said. "My first year in the legislature has been an incredible learning experience and I will continue to work with my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to accomplish what is best for hard working families."

The idea behind Piccola Trattoria's menu, service, and hospitality stems from the core of Sicilian culture.  We strive to bring the freshest ingredients to our dishes and ultimately to the table. We offer a wide array of dishes that use local and imported products, as well as desserts that take the best of what the season has to offer. This October, as a tribute to contemporary Sicilian cuisine, Piccola Trattoria will be replicating some of our favorite Sicilian recipes.  You will find fresh seafood, homemade pastas, and classic desserts on our Specials Menu.  We hope you'll join us for an evening of celebrating the enthusiasm and hospitality that Sicilians have for their food.
