Blue Sky is a group of life-long musicians living in Santa Clarita that plays music for the simple love and passion of music. Playing songs that reflect their past but fit perfectly in the present. Presenting versions of some of the best classic rock, pop and R&B you've heard, and some you haven't. Just right for any event or club ambiance that leaves guests smiling. Formed in 2006, they have been local favorites playing a wide range of venues in and around Santa Clarita, and a number of charitable events on an annual basis. This will be their fifth appearance at The Wine Affair on Town Center Drive.

 

They are not satisfied with covering songs note for note but bringing something new to each one with a flavor all their own. Blue Sky goes from the whisper of a ballad to high-energy goodness. Russ and Nancy Briley fell in love with the idea of making wine in 2008. They were attending the wine studies program at COC and had the opportunity to make wine from a kit and then some home wine from backyard grapes. They then were able to make wine at Cantera Cellars in Camarillo after getting all their licensing. They started with small lots of Pinot Noir from the Santa Maria Valley. Their 2009 and 2010 vintages scored 90 and 91 points respectively. In 2011 they were able to get pinot noir form Oregon and added a Riesling to their offerings. Every year they are increasing production and will be adding a sparking wine to the mix later this year.
