New to VBF IN 2013

Frontier Brigade Band

The Frontier Brigade Band
from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas will be a new ensemble for Vintage Band Festival 2013. They have a complex identity as both a Civil War band and a cowboy band using the same personnel. As the Civil War band they're known sometimes as the 1859 Marine Band and sometimes as The Frontier Brigade Band. As the cowboy band, their name is Buffalo Bill's Wild West Cowboy Band.

Check out the The Frontier Brigade Band on their youtube channel!

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble performs at the Vintage Band Festival on August 1 at 8 pm on Bridge Square. HBE (or Hypnotic, or The Bros) is an eight-piece, Chicago-based brass ensemble consisting of eight sons of the jazz trumpeter Phil Cohran.  That's right, they're all brothers!

Get some of the flavor of the band by watching Hypnotic Brass Ensemble on youtube.
