A Parent Guide to Student iPads -Wednesday, December 2
|
On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Little Theater, OLCHS will provide a one hour informational session for parents that will cover the basics of students' iPads. Some of the presentation topics will include popular apps and how to tell if they are educational or games, how to check if your student has homework, how to check if your student is completing their homework, and information about our web filter system. The presentations will be presented by Dr. Jeana Lietz, Assistant Principal, Technology Coach Janet Meyers, and ESL teacher Mary Kerrigan. There will be a bi-lingual room with translators available. Parents are encouraged to bring their student (and their iPads) to the session, but it is not required. For more information, please contact Dr. Jeana Lietz at (708) 741-5616 or jlietz@olchs.org.
