Final Exam Schedule

Final Exams will be administered on:

Tuesday, June 2
Wednesday, June 3
Thursday, June 4

Please note: Wednesday, June 3, 2015, is not a typical Wednesday late-start day.

Final exams begin each day at 7:55 a.m. The final exam grade is 20% of the semester grade in most courses. On Final Exam Days, students are only required to be on campus for exam and 'review session' periods unless the student is exempt from the final exam or if the exam or 'review session' is a scheduled study hall period.

Students are not required to attend Full-Period Study Halls, Lunch/Study Halls, or Access Period Study Halls. This includes Assigned Resource Rooms, PSAE Prep Classes, Supported Study Halls, Guided Study Halls, LRP Access, ELL/ESL Access, and as student aides. Students who have a study hall on their schedule that happens to fall in the "middle" of an exam day have the option of leaving the building or staying in the student cafeteria until their next exam. Students who stay on campus during unassigned times must report to the student cafeteria. Final Exam Schedule

If a student has an excused absence for a final exam, the student should utilize the make-up session on Thursday, June 4, 2015.

2015-16 Enrollment Verification -Begins Now!

InforSnap

Building on the success of last summer's online enrollment process, we are excited to share that OLCHS is enhancing this year's process by utilizing 'InfoSnap' to allow families to upload their required residency documentation online. The online process will replace the previous method of faxing, emailing, or hand-delivering the residency documents to the school.

Families are encouraged to begin the residency verification process immediately. Failure to upload the residency documentation will prevent your online access to complete Steps 2-5 and delay access to student schedules and to students receiving their iPads and textbooks.

Families can immediately begin the process by selecting the 'InfoSnap' banner on the school's website, www.olchs.org. Letters are being mailed on Monday to families but you may begin the process today if desired.

Locker Padlocks

Students are reminded to take their hall locker and PE locker padlocks home with them at the end of the school year. We suggest writing the combinations down and attaching them to the locks. Students will be expected to use the padlocks again next year. If a padlock is lost, a new one will need to be purchased during the iPad/Textbook Distribution Days in August. Please contact the Deans' Office with any questions.
Students Mail Call Honor Flight Veteran

As part of the ILRP Tutorial at OLCHS, students can voluntarily gain service hours by taking part in projects. Teaching Assistant Eric Kelly's friend, Tom Priestley, 90, took an Honor Flight from Midway Airport to Washington, D.C. on May 6, 2015. ILRP students had the opportunity to make cards for his "mail call" during the flight. The cards showed their appreciation for his service during World War II and wished him a great trip.  In return, Mr. Priestley sent a card thanking them. He wrote, "It's surprising to me that (the) students know so much about World War II and the impact it had on our country. Wonderful!"

Class of 2016 Senior Portrait Information

If a student missed the sign-up dates,  appointments can be made online at studio.IL.vipis.com or over the phone at 847-499-9300 or 800-577-9570.
