PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE

It feels like winter has finally arrived these past few days. The cold and snow has finally made it to Minnesota. However, no matter what the weather it can't dampen all of the holiday excitement. From all of us on the MASWA Board we wish each and every one of you a wonderful Holiday Season!

This month we have decided to try something new. We are going to have a fun Holiday Networking Event. Please join us on Monday, December 14th for drink and some appetizers and time to network with friends new and old!

I do have one quick reminder before you dash off to you next holiday event. Your membership for MASWA runs the calendar year. Therefore, your membership will be expiring as the ball drops on December 31st. We encourage you to take a quick moment and go to our website at www.seniorworkers.org and renew your membership for next year. That way you won't miss any of the newsletters about upcoming events. If you renew your membership by the end of January you will have the opportunity to take advantage of our early bird pricing of $20. After that membership will go up to $30 for the year. With your membership you receive discounts on your registration to the Spring Luncheon and Fall Aging Conference, two public policy meetings per year to keep you up to date on what's going on in our legislature and nine monthly meetings. For all that education and networking your membership is invaluable so do not delay, register today.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FOR 2016

Season's Greetings! Holiday time is once again upon us and I wanted to remind everyone that the annual MASWA membership expires on December 31st. With the new year comes time for membership renewal. We are working to grow our membership and we want you to spread the word about our great organization and invite other professionals to join our group as well.

Are your days really busy and you need an incentive to fit in just one more thing? Consider it done! Renew or join by the end of January and get the early bird special price of $20.00 and also be entered in a drawing for fabulous prizes. If you should wait until February, the cost of membership will go up to $30.00 in 2016.

Please remember that your membership is an individual membership and can not be transferred to another person. I really do hope you are planning to join us again in 2016. Please renew early and take full advantage of your MASWA membership in 2016!
